Accessibility statement
Placiva should be usable by people comparing home safety options under stress, on mobile devices, and with assistive technology where possible.
Placiva is a planning site for home safety decisions, so usability is not decoration. If a page, form, image, or tool blocks you from getting useful information, please report it.
What Placiva aims to support
- Readable text on mobile and desktop.
- Keyboard access for navigation, links, buttons, forms, and cookie choices.
- Clear headings and labels for people scanning or using assistive technology.
- Alternative text or adjacent explanations for meaningful images and diagrams.
- A skip link, visible focus states, and responsive layouts that avoid text overlap.
Known practical limits
Some diagrams are illustrative and may not communicate every detail to every user. A text explanation should be available near the visual when the diagram contains important planning information.
Provider websites, third-party sources, and email clients are outside Placiva control. If a linked source is inaccessible, you can ask Placiva for help finding the core information another way.
How to report an accessibility issue
- Email hello@placiva.com with the page URL.
- Describe what you were trying to do.
- Name the control, image, table, form field, or page area that caused trouble.
- Include your browser, device, zoom level, or assistive technology if you know it.
- Say whether you need the information in a different format.
Emergency and professional support
Accessibility feedback about this website is not emergency support. If a person is at immediate risk, contact local emergency services or a qualified local professional.
